Metabolic & Weight
A long-acting amylin analog — the 'Cagri' half of CagriSema.
Metabolic & Weight
A small-molecule NNMT blocker with mouse data only — not actually a peptide.
Cagrilintide is not FDA-approved and rated 4/5 for evidence; 5-Amino-1MQ is not FDA-approved and rated 2/5. Cagrilintide has more human evidence behind it. Both are banned in sport by WADA. Both are used for metabolic & weight goals.

| How it works | A 37-amino-acid modified amylin analog with a C18 fatty diacid for a long half-life. It activates amylin and calcitonin receptors in the brain, increasing fullness and slowing stomach emptying — a different pathway from GLP-1, which is why the two are combined. | Inhibits nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT). Less NNMT activity is thought to preserve NAD+ and SAM (a methyl donor) inside fat cells, nudging them to burn more energy and store less fat. This is based on cell and mouse work. |
