Last reviewed Oct 27, 2026 · How we rate evidence · Report an error
ENDO-205 is an investigational, first‑in‑class peptide therapeutic being developed to target endometriosis lesions without hormones or surgery. The FDA has cleared an IND for a phase I study in healthy premenopausal women. Preclinical work suggests the peptide can selectively accumulate in endometriotic tissue and disrupt lesion growth.
The peptide is designed to bind a downstream component of a pathway that drives endometriosis lesion migration and invasion, and is reported to be absorbed primarily in endometriosis tissue.
